I can't believe that as of 12 o'clock, I'll be a senior. This year has been the best by far and they get better every year without a doubt so I can't help but imagine how I'll feel next year when I leave my friends, family, and pets to start my own life at college.
I'm already tearing up a little because so many of my friends graduated and I'm going to miss them so bad, but next year, I'll be leaving even more friends than ever.
I'm in my last final and in a little under a hour, I'll be going home to start my summer. I'll have my last year at Vanderbilt Summer Academy, which I will also miss with a passion, and then once it's over, I'll get back to my studies.
Next year is going to be a totally new experience. We're moving to a new school with new people and I'll be top of the food chain with several other friends.
I just can't believe how fast it's gone by, but it's been amazingly fun despite how boring school can be.
Especially this year, I've collected a large album of photos on Facebook to help me remember the year and the amazing people and I hope that even though we're going our separate ways that we don't lose touch like my grandpa said we will.

Doodles
Apparently I feel the unnatural need to doodle on everything.
I just noticed this today. I have small notes to myself on my hands, cute creatures in my notebooks, intricate flowers and faces on my binders, and my desk has everything known to man drawn on it.
I draw somewhat well, some days much better than others, but I'm nothing compared to my friends who are art students. I just never cared to draw when I was younger like them, I preferred writing. Now they're winning contests with their art and I'm winning contests with my writing.
Either way, I'd still like to get better at drawing and I'm working on it. One desk at a time.
Yesterday after I got out of school, I had an Anime Brigade party to attend. That didn't go over well. For some reason this year, we've had the least amount of members that we've ever had so there were only six total of us there. Then only one person brought food. My friend and I had food on the way, but it didn't get there until after so we decided to try again for next week.
I walked home, got online for twenty minutes and then fell asleep from six until seven in the morning where I still didn't want to wake up.
Unfortuantely, my mom forced me to come to school so fifteen minutes late, I dragged myself into the building and went to school. I probably won't come tomorrow though because my mom has to have some type of surgery and I want to be there with her to give her support and make sure that she's taken care of.

The Mother-Daughter Bonding and Avengers
If you haven't seen the Avengers yet... Go see it. NOW.
It was super good. The only part that I didn't enjoy was the screaming baby in the row in front of me. Seriously guys, if you can't control your kid then don't take it to the theater.
It got even better when I asked someone to take the child out of the theater. They came in, stood there for a moment, and for the first time in the movie, the baby was silent. It started up again after they left so I asked again and the manager came in. The baby was screaming so he asked the couple to leave. The man cursed the manager out and then they left.
I understand being mad when you're asked to leave a movie that you payed good money for, but you shouldn't put your experience over everyone else because you couldn't find a babysitter.
Other than that, the movie was super awesome. <3
That was Friday, I got home later in the afternoon and just relaxed for the rest of the night. Since it was a weekend, I figured that it wouldn't hurt to stay up late. Well, I didn't know that I would be dragged out of bed at 8 AM for mother-daughter bonding time. Apparently mom wanted to go yard selling so she had me look some up on Craigslist and we used her phone to go to yard sales all over town. I never really found anything interesting either of the days we did it, Saturday and Sunday, but I did buy some stuff. A bag of books for the school book drive, a thing of monkey grass for the yard, kitty stickers that were cute, and two snowcones.
Mom found stuff at every yard sale and loaded up the van. XD

All Faith In Humanity Was Lost That Day
Today in English we watched a movie called Food Inc. If you don't know what this is, it is a movie about how our food is made. They go behind the scenes for major food places like McDonalds, Tyson's Meat, and other brands that are commonly found in the grocery store.
Since such videos and new stories have been circulating for as long as I can remember, it's easy to become impartial to them and forget them relatively quickly.
I've seen videos about the animal abuse, the chemicals, the health issues, and the working conditions but once dinner comes around, I've forgotten them entirely.
This video, this experience, I don't think I can forget.
In the past month, I've become more aware of the things around me and the people in my life. People who help others in legit kindness and people who help others just to hear how good that they are for doing it.
The movie was enough in it's own. It showed true stories from people who had lost their contracts for their kindness to the animals, such as not buying a chicken coop that left the chickens in the dark their entire life, and being willing to show the reporters the inside of them to show the world what is going on.
The two parts that got to me the most were the story of a mother who had lost her child in less than two weeks and a clip of a half dead cow being pushed into the butcher by a dump truck.
They didn't bother to hide the tears that the mother cried during her interview or the pain in her eyes. Most people take it out to hold their self image up high, but she did.
The cow, says enough.
However, it wasn't the video that got to me the most.
It was my English class.
For some reason, watching the farmers put corn into a hole that was in cow's stomachs was funny. Watching them cut the throat of chickens, pigs, and cows; was funny to them.
When the mother was crying, they laughed all the harder.
It might not be a big deal, but this bothered me.
